 Robert C.L. Vaughan focuses his practice on commercial litigation. He represents clients in US state and federal courts, and in matters pending before Caribbean courts. Mr. Vaughan is rated AV by Martindale- Hubbell and has successfully tried civil and criminal cases, both bench and jury, in state and federal court in Florida. He has participated in successful multimillion-dollar jury trials, class action litigation and multidistrict litigation, and represented numerous clients through summary judgment in nonjury proceedings.
As lead counsel, Mr. Vaughan has successfully obtained preliminary injunctive relief for clients engaged in non-compete and trade secret litigation. He also has represented clients in state and US appellate courts in a wide variety of areas including insurance defense, attorneys fees litigation and general contract disputes. Mr. Vaughan has represented clients in many industries including insurance, agriculture, manufacturing, information technology, aviation and finance.

Advising a Fortune 500 company in the coordination, review and audit of global data privacy policies and procedures.
Acting as lead counsel and advising a hospitality industry client in theft of trade secret and noncompete litigation. Successfully securing temporary and preliminary injunctive relief for client and enforcing terms of noncompete agreement.
Advising a client on response to grand jury subpoenas.
Acting as counsel to clients with litigation and transactional matters pending in the Caribbean.
Acting as lead trial counsel in multimillion-dollar class action litigation involving breach of contract dispute in the agricultural sector.
Acting as trial counsel for a client involved in defense of class action breach of contract claim; Successfully securing decertification of class and subsequent denial of request for class certification.
Representing various insurance companies through summary judgment and successfully on appeal in state and federal courts.
Assisting as local counsel in consumer action multidistrict software litigation.
Serving as local counsel to several firms with commercial dispute cases pending in state and federal courts in Florida.
